<p>A coin type battery is provided to improve soldering strength with a circuit substrate even when the overall height of the battery is increased by the thickness of a lead plate to enhance the battery capacity. A coin type battery(10) has a first external can(11) serving as a cathode terminal, of which an opening is airtightly sealed by a second external can(12) serving as an anode terminal through an insulating gasket(15). A lead plate(19) is welded onto a bottom outer surface of one external can of the both external cans. The lead plate and the other external can are mounted on a circuit substrate by a reflow soldering method. An unevenness is formed on the bottom outer surface of the external can without the lead plate, wherein the unevenness comprises many convex parts(13) and concave parts(13a) formed between the convex parts.</p> |
