<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer method of a catalyst layer for a solid polymer fuel cell in which formation of a thick catalyst layer of a desired shape by an electrolyte membrane-catalyst layer assembly is possible, damage is not given to the electrolyte membrane, and the catalyst layer is not excessively densified. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer method of a catalyst layer for the solid polymer fuel cell includes a step in which a plurality of transfer sheets in which a catalyst layer for the solid polymer fuel cell 12 is formed in thin film-shape on one face of a substrate sheet 11 are prepared, a step in which a plurality of mask films 2 having a prescribed shape and a nearly identical thickness with the catalyst layer are prepared, a step in which the mask film is arranged at least on one of the one face or the other face of the electrolyte membrane 3 and the catalyst layer of the transfer sheet is transferred on the electrolyte membrane so as to meet with the shape of the mask film, and then, the substrate sheet is peeled, and a step in which another mask film is arranged on the mask film on the electrolyte membrane and the catalyst layer of another transfer sheet is transferred on the catalyst layer transferred so as to meet with the shape of the mask film, and then, the substrate sheet is peeled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
