摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial blood vessel of small bore diameter, that exhibits desirable favorable patency, has high strength and appropreate bioabsorbability, and employable even in a high pressure system, such as an artery of systemic circulation, and a process for producing the artificial blood vessel of small bore diameter. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an artificial blood vessel of small bore diameter comprising a multilayer tubular structure coated with fibroin, the multilayer tubular structure resulting from multilayer braid knitting of finbroin threads. Further, there is provided a process for producing an artificial blood vessel of small bore diameter, comprising the steps of forming a multilayer tubular structure by multilayer braid knitting of fibroin threads; and coating the multilayer tubular structure with fibroin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
