<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a peak while reducing band limit processing computational complexity and processing delay quantity accompanied with peak suppression processing in single carrier transmission. <P>SOLUTION: A primary modulation part 110 applies primary modulation to transmission data and outputs an obtained primary modulation signal to a peak suppression part 120. The peak suppression part 120 arranged on the prestage of a single carrier modulation part 130 applies peak suppression to the primary modulation signal and outputs the peak-suppressed primary modulation signal to the single carrier modulation part 130.
