PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operational amplifier which cancels offset unique to the operational amplifier to drive a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The operational amplifier has a first differential pair with a first transistor and a second transistor of a first conductive type, a second differential pair with a third transistor and a fourth transistor of a second conductive type, a first floating current source, a second floating current source and an output stage with a fifth transistor and a sixth transistor, when input signals are provided to the first and third transistors, a current flowing to the fifth transistor and the sixth transistor is set by the first floating current source and when input signals are provided to the second and fourth transistors, a current flowing to the fifth transistor and the sixth transistor is set by the second floating current source.
