PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem where, since X-ray radiograph or radioscopy is not correctly carried out when a filament of an X-ray tube is broken, or a part or the whole thereof is short-circuited, a function of detecting such trouble is provided for an X-ray high-voltage device, but a structure thereof is complicated and thereby leads to cost increase. SOLUTION: A relationship between a filament current value for a filament 7A in a normal state and a control parameter value for adjusting the filament current to that value is stored in a parameter storage part 10 in advance, and thereafter a filament current control part 8 detects a filament trouble if any depending on whether or not the filament current value stored for a parameter value output to a filament current adjustment part 12 coincides with a measured filament current value in order to control the filament current every time the current is carried to the filament 7A for executing X-ray radiograph or radiography.
