PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting information collection support system and a setting information collection support program which can easily perform recovery management of a computer. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a server role master 14 storing role IDs for every server classifications, a role product classification association table (TB) 15 storing product classifications corresponding with the role IDs, a collection condition TB 16 storing server names, a product master 12 storing product classifications and product names, a collection candidate registry entry master 13 storing correspondence registry entry names corresponding to collection object item names, and a collection information storing TB 17 storing registry IDs and registry values and operation SEQ numbers; and executes a process acquiring the server names and the registry IDs from the collection condition TB 16, a process collecting the correspondence registry entry names from the collection candidate registry entry master 13 based on the registry IDs, a process storing the acquired server names etc. in the collection information storing TB 17, and a process collecting item information in which the operation SEQ numbers stored in the collection information storing TB 17 are specified.
