ANTIOXIDANT WITH REDUCED ODOR COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antioxidant with its odor extremely reduced which is obtained from an extract of a plant containing an antioxidant component. SOLUTION: The antioxidant with its odor component reduced is obtained by extracting a herbal spice plant containing antioxidant component with an aqueous solution of an alcohol having an alcohol concentration of 20-80% by weight, adjusting the alcohol concentration of the obtained plant extract to 10% by weight or less under reduced pressure and subsequently allowing it to flow through a synthetic adsorbent so as to remove its odor component.
