PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner capable of reducing the difference in the air temperature between outlets by promoting the mixing of the flow of air from a cold air passage with the flow of air from a hot air passage inside a case. SOLUTION: The air-conditioner for the automobile has a foot door 11 which has a partition wall 11b and is movable at least between an advanced position 11A to which the partition wall 11b is moved forward until it blocks in an air passage the flow of air from a merging area J to the downstream side and a retreated position 11B to which the partition wall 11b is retreated from the advanced position 11A. A mixing area 20 is provided in the air passage with the foot door 11 positioned at the advanced position 11A and blocks the flow of air to the downstream side by the partition wall 11b to promote the mixing of the flow of air from a cold air passage 8 and the flow of air from a hot air passage 9.
