PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably guide an overhead view image of an area required for operation assistance to a driver without increasing a processing load of a control part by image processing at timing required for operation assistance. SOLUTION: The operation assistant device controls an image photographing unit mounted to one's own vehicle and provided with a photographing part based on a position relationship of the photographing part and an object to be photographed, and arranges it at a photographing position for photographing the object to be photographed from above the one's own vehicle.
