PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle having a shaft drive device capable of shortening the assembling time of a torque rod and increasing the productivity of a main line. SOLUTION: The motorcycle 10 keeps a rear fork 21 which is vertically swingably provided in a vehicle body frame 11, a rear wheel 35 provided at the rear end 21b of the rear fork 21, a gear case 54 at the lateral side of the rear wheel 35, and a drive shaft 56 between the gear case 54 and the output shaft 55 of a power unit 32, and enables the output of the power unit 32 to be transmitted to the rear wheel 35 through the drive shaft 56 and the gear case 54. The gear case 54 is supported by a rear wheel axle 36 at the rear end 21b of the rear fork 21 and is prevented from being rotated by the torque rod 57 which couples the circumferential part 54g of the gear case 54 with the rear fork 21.
