A crosslinkable molding which has a sufficiently low coefficient of thermal expansion and high dimensional accuracy. It comprises a fibrous material and a polymerizable composition sufficiently infiltrated thereinto. It has no molding failures. Also provided are a crosslinked molding, a process for producing these moldings, and a use of such moldings. The process for molding production is characterized by subjecting a polymerizable composition comprising a cycloolefin monomer and a metathesis catalyst and optionally containing a crosslinking agent and/or a filler to ring-opening bulk polymerization in the presence of a glass yarn cloth having a bulk density of 0.50-1.10 g/cm² to produce a crosslinkable molding and then optionally conducting a crosslinking reaction.
