<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lighting fixture, having desired light distribution characteristics using a plurality of LED lamps for an illumination light source, because the quantity of light of one LED lamp is small when it is used for a light source for an illumination light source. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular lighting fixture includes light guide blocks, each having a light-emitting element arranged toward the upper part of a vehicle, and a reflecting surface for reflecting the light from the light-emitting element toward the front part of the vehicle. The cross section shape of the reflecting surface in the vertical direction along the optical axis is set to a substantially-parabolic shape having a focus on the optical axis. In the light guide block, an incident surface making the light from the light-emitting element enter the light guide block is positioned, to substantially correspond with the focus in the horizontal plane passing through the optical axis. The light guide blocks, forming a vehicular illumination lighting fixture, have the incident surfaces each of which the shading treatment for shading the backward from the focus is applied to, and are arranged continuously side by side, to thereby provide light distribution characteristics that are similar to those of a single lighting fixture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
