<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrostatic latent image developing toner with which a high-quality image can be obtained by enhancing uniformity of an image and avoiding transfer irregularity and voids in transfer at a transfer step with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The electrostatic latent image developing toner is applied to an image forming apparatus comprising: a latent image carrier 10; a developing device 40 for developing an latent image carried on the latent image carrier 10 with a two-component developer including a toner and carrier to form a toner image; a transfer means 50 to transfer the toner image on the latent image carrier 10 to a recording medium; and a fixing device for fixing the transferred toner image on the recording medium, wherein toner particles satisfying D≥2H are contained in a number of 1,200/g, wherein D is the major axis size of the toner; and H is the height of a toner layer on the latent image carrier when 0.4 mg/cm<SP>2</SP>of the toner is deposited on the latent image carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
