<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow alteration of limit information as required, in an image recorder designed such that the limit information is recorded on a non-contact type tag on a non-recorded side attached to a recorded medium, and a generation management can be performed. <P>SOLUTION: An RFID tag is attached to paper used in this embodiment, and a table of copying conditions is recorded in the tag. Specifically, in the table of copying conditions, the allowable number of copies, whether tag information can be copied or not, and so on are set for each of sets of original documents. The table of copying conditions, recorded in the document tag, is copied on a recording paper tag but can be corrected during the copy.
