PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound output method, a sound output system and cellphone, wherein a sleeping user is surprised and is certainly awakened by activating an sound output device. SOLUTION: When the cellphone 2 outputs an alarm sound upon a set alarm time, if an operation for stopping the output of the alarm sound is not carried out, the cellphone sends a sound output command to an intercom device 10 by wireless communication. The intercom device 10 comprises a wireless communication function, and sounds a door chime when it receives the sound output command sent from the cellphone 2. The user of the cellphone 2 has an illusion that somebody has paid a visit owing to the sound of the door chime from the intercom device 10, and is surprised to slip out from a bed, so that the sleeping user can be still more strongly awakened as compared with an alarm function of the usual cellphone 2.
