<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipurpose folding table structure that can be easily handled by a passenger. <P>SOLUTION: The folding table structure includes a support and a table housing. The table housing is disposed on the support so that its height is adjustable, and a table-top element can be accommodated in a storage position that is essentially vertical. The table-top element is adjustable from the storage position to an in-use position at which it is essentially horizontal.
