PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door frame which increases the strength of a mullion. SOLUTION: This sliding door frame 1 comprises a head 11, door end-side and door tail-side jambs 12 and 13, and the mullions 10 and 10 which form an entrance of a door storage case for housing a sliding door 4. The dimension L2 of the insertion of the mullions 10 and 10 into a wall material is set as large as/larger than the dimension L1 of a face visible from the outside, and the mullions 10 and 10 are fixed to an inner wall TW of the door storage case at an interval in the traveling direction of the sliding door 4 in a plurality of places by means of screws.
