PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly method of a truss structure by which an arch-shaped or dome-shaped truss structure can be made easily. SOLUTION: Upper chord members 1 provided with rivets 20a, which are arranged longitudinally at fixed intervals A in a protruding manner, are arranged at equal intervals in the depth direction. Each of the rivets 20a is inserted into an upper lateral member 3 and an upper connecting part of a first zigzag diagonal member 5. The rivet 20a is then inserted into an upper connecting part of a second zigzag diagonal member which is similar to the first diagonal member, and a rivet 20b is inserted into a lower connecting part thereof. The second diagonal member is arranged in a manner of crossing the first diagonal member. The rivet 20b is then inserted into a lower lateral member 4 for arrangement at equal intervals. Lower chord members 2 having rivet insertion holes, which are longitudinally formed at intervals B smaller than the intervals A of the rivets of the upper chord members, are pierced by the rivets 20b for arrangement at equal intervals. The connecting parts of layered members are fixed by the rivets 20a, 20b inserted into the rivet insertion holes. Prior to the process of arranging the lower chord members 2, middle parts of the upper chord members 1 are uplifted from the floor surface and supported. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
