PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy and reliable removal of unnecessary parts from a molded skin material. SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a slush-molding skin material comprises forming an outside extension portion 17c extending outward from the die and an inside extension portion 17d extending inward in the die on the outer peripheral edge of the product shape portion of the molding surface 19 of the die, forming a pair of first protrusion portions 21 of a triangular cross-section mutually closely in parallel along the outer peripheral edge of the product shape portion in an integral form on the side of the molding surface 19 of the outside extension portion 17c and forming a second protrusion portion 23 of a triangular cross-section, with the second protrusion portion 23 smaller in the amount of protrusion than the first protrusions 21, between the first protrusions 21, in parallel with the first protrusions 21 and in an integrated form, forming a third protrusion 25 of a triangular cross-section along the outer peripheral edge of the product shape portion, on the side of the die molding surface 19 of the inside extension portion 17d and in an integrated form, and holding the first and second protrusions 21 and 23 in such postures that the tips of the protrusions 21 and 23 are directed downward and the third protrusion 25 in such a posture that the tip of the protrusion 25 is directed upward, in the step of cooling and hardening the molten resin layer.
