PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrophotographic toner which has transferability and also cleanability to a recording medium at a high level and can form high quality image of high definition and high density even when the consumption is less than that of the conventional toner. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic toner, among the toner particles including a binder resin and a colorant, average circularity of the toner particles having grain size of≥2 to≤5μm is≥0.945 to≤0.975 and the content of the toner particles having the circularity of≤0.950 in the toner particles having grain size of≥2 to≤5μm is≤40 number %.
