PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing a plastically worked article where, even when a cylindrical stock is plastically worked into a thin shape, the external force required upon removing is suppressed, and the worked article can be removed without damaging the same. SOLUTION: In the method for removing a plastically worked article where a cylindrical stock W fitted to a die 12 is plastically worked so as to be a thin shape, and thereafter, the plastically worked article is removed from the die 12; the surface of the plastically worked article is heated after the working in order to expand a clearance between the inside diameter of the worked article and the outside diameter of the die.
