PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device in which high quality fiber silver is quickly, safely, and softly disposed. SOLUTION: This device for a spinning preparation machine, particularly for drawing frames or cards comprises a sliver can support part supporting a sliver can and periodically moving the silver can. The silver can has a rotary table rotatable around a rotating shaft at a rotary table speed. The device has an outlet opening for arranging a fiber silver disposed eccentrically to the rotating shaft and directed in the direction of the silver can supported by the silver can supporting part. A fiber silver conveying silver duct provides a base speed suitable for a supply speed to the rotary table to dispose the fiber silver into the silver can in a cycloid form. The fiber silver supplied by the supply device at a specific possible supply speed is arranged in the fiber silver conveying silver duct. To reduce the tension of the fiber silver in the longitudinal direction while the speed is lowered, the rotary table has the drive system designed to temporarily reduce the speed of the rotary table more than a specific base speed while the arrangement of the fiber silver in the silver can is continued according to the specific possible shape.
