APPARATUS FOR PLAYING MOVING PICTURE BASED FLASH TO PROTECT CONTENT COPYRIGHT AND METHOD THEREOF

A flash based moving picture regenerating apparatus for protecting content copyright and a method thereof are provided to prevent the moving picture from being hacked as well as to strengthen protection of the copyright for flash files. A flash based moving picture regenerating apparatus comprises a local streaming server(20), a flash regenerator(30), and a DRM(Digital Rights Management) controller(10). The local streaming server provides the flash file on the basis of a streaming scheme at a local level. The flash regenerator receives decoded flash files from the local streaming server and regenerates the received flash files. The DRM controller loads encoded flash files stored at a terminal, decodes the loaded flash files, controls the regeneration of the decoded flash files at the flash regenerator by making an access to the local streaming server and performs authentication for regeneration of the flash files as well as transmits the decoded flash files to the local streaming server.
