An axial gap type motor is provided to insulate between a stator core and a bracket by including a back yoke made of insulating material. An axial gap type motor includes a stator(100) and a rotor(20) arranged to face each other along a rotation axis(30) of the rotor. The stator has a stator core(111), a back yoke(120), and a plurality of stator coils(112). The stator core has a plate shape and forms a magnetic path. The back yoke is made of non-magnetic material and installed at a lower part of the stator core to fix the stator core to a bracket. The plurality of stator coils are arranged at an upper part of the stator core along a circumference of the stator core and wound in a direction parallel to the rotation axis.
