A method and device for liquid article radiation security inspection is disclosed. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring the initial background information; sending radiation beams to pass through said liquid article; receiving the radiation beams that pass through the liquid article for forming the projection data from a plurality of angles; on the basis of the initial background information and the uniformity of the liquid article, computing and obtaining the radiation absorption coefficient of the liquid article by the reversion operation of the projection data from a plurality of angles; and obtaining the related information of the liquid article by comparing the said radiation absorption coefficient with the preset data.
