FUEL CELL AND FUEL SUPPLY METHOD OF FUEL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell which can make a pressurized supply mechanism of fuel to a cell of the fuel cell smaller in size and can improve a cell output and supply a fuel supply method to the fuel cell.

SOLUTION: The fuel cell is provided with an air electrode and a fuel electrode facing each other with an electrolyte membrane in between and an air electrode side is pinched by an air electrode plate and a fuel electrode side is pinched by a fuel electrode plate. A fuel tank is connected with either or both of the air electrode plate and the fuel electrode plate, and a fuel pressurizing gas passage into which gas pressurizing the fuel stored in the fuel tank is enclosed. The gas enclosed in the pressurizing gas passage is heat-expanded by heat generated at the fuel cell and pressure is applied on the fuel stored in the fuel tank to supply the fuel to the fuel cell.
