<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase line pressure without insufficient primary pressure while preventing deterioration of fuel economy when an accelerator pedal is slowly stepped during line pressure feedback control. <P>SOLUTION: In this belt type continuously variable transmission adjusting a gear ratio according to the driving amount of a step motor, when a shift speed becomes higher than a predetermined value during feedback control for lowering line pressure to the utmost, a line pressure command value is increased and compensated (S1, S5, S6) following a change in secondary pressure so that a difference between the line pressure command value and a command value of secondary pressure being supply pressure to a secondary pulley keeps a predetermined relation determined by a target gear ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
