<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small rotary electric machine capable of improving accuracy of a rotary sensor by reducing detection of a leakage magnetic flux from a winding wire of an armature while ensuring a space used for winding a wire, and to obtain a motor-driven power steering system. <P>SOLUTION: The electric machine is provided with a stator 2 equipped with a plurality of armature winding wires 3 wound around salient poles 13 in a cylindrical frame 1, and a rotor 4 inside the stator 2. The machine is provided with a permanent magnet 8 having alternately magnetized N-pole and S-pole on a magnetic flux measurement circle 7 rotating together with the rotor 4. A magnetic flux detector 10 having directivity for detection sensitivity and detecting a magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 8 is provided near the permanent magnet 8. The magnetic flux detector 10 is disposed among the axial center of a projection surface perpendicularly crossing a shaft 5 of the rotor 4, the internal circumferential end of the armature winding wire 3 on a slot 14 center diameter line through the center of a slot or near to it and the shaft 5 of the rotor 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
