<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a crack from occurring in advance in a retainer owing to a stress load from an inside centering spring. <P>SOLUTION: A clutch unit comprises a lever-side clutch 11 provided at the input side to control transmitting/intercepting the rotational torque to the output side by lever operation, and a brake-side clutch 12 provided at the output side to transmit the input torque from the lever-side clutch 11 to the output side, and intercept the reverse input torque from the output side. The lever-side clutch 11 comprises the retainer 17 to retain multiple cylindrical rollers 16 to control transmitting/intercepting the input torque from a lever-side outer ring 14 by engaging/disengaging between the lever-side outer ring 14 and an inner ring 15, and an inside centering spring 18 to accumulate elastic force by the input torque from the lever-side outer ring 14, and return the retainer 17 to a neutral state by the accumulated elastic force by releasing the input torque. The retainer 17 consists essentially of a predetermined resin material, and formed by a blank body in which graphite is compounded in 25% or more into the resin material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
