PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key telephone system which is capable of preventing a SIP telephone from wrongfully used by a person other than a user even when the user logs into the system by another SIP telephone in a remote place while leaving the SIP telephone in a login state. SOLUTION: In the key telephone system accommodating key telephones using SIP protocols, a method is provided which restricts functions of SIP telephones on the basis of location information of the SIP telephone at the time of login when the user logs into the system from a plurality of SIP telephones.
