PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system for a snow melting device by which an operator or the like can operate the snow melting device without actually visiting the field and can grasp the snow melting condition of the field around the position where the snow melting device is installed. SOLUTION: A server 12 transmits operation instruction data to a road heating device 11 according to the instructions from a cell phone 14. When the road heating device 11 receives the operation instruction data, it carries out snow melting operation only during the instructed period of time. When the snow melting operation finishes, image data of the image taken by CMOS camera 17 after finishing the snow melting operation are transmitted to the server 12.
