PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leakage of cooling water from an automatic transmission case of a hybrid vehicle. SOLUTION: In the automatic transmission for the hybrid vehicle having a cylindrical case 1 arranged with motors 4, 5 for driving and power generation therein, cooling water passages 2a, 2b having grooves 2c, 2d having one opened end and a lid 3 for closing the opening of the groove, formed at the groove by joining joint surfaces S1, S2 of the case and the lid and circulated with cooling water are provided on the case.
