<p>A lens and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to suppress damage by forming a fluorophosphate glass with an optical function surface and a positioning reference surface. A lens is made of a fluorophosphate glass. The fluorophosphate glass includes an optical function surface and a positioning reference surface(13a,13b,14) for positioning and fixing the lens in a fixing unit and for determining a direction in an optical axis direction. The optical function surface and the positioning reference surface are transfer surfaces which are formed by transferring a shape of a molding surface of a mold according to a precision press-molding process.</p> |
