A bed for a patient is provided to enable a patient who cannot move from a bed to dispose of his/her urine or excretion in a sanitary way with simple operation. A bed for a patient include a frame(12), a mat(16), a toilet(100), an excretion collecting unit and a cover separating unit(50). The frame includes plural legs(11). The mat is installed on the frame and an excretion hole(15) is formed on the mat. The toilet is installed on the lower surface of the frame, and is coupled to or separated from the lower part of the excretion hole by an ascending/descending unit(30). The toilet provides coupling and separating force for a cover(200) opening and covering the excretion hole. The cover separating unit separates the cover from the toilet.
