<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tear line processing device which processes a tear line at designated processing accuracy even for the surface of a soft material, and also to provide a processing method using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The tear line processing device 10 is used for processing a tear line 4 on the material surface 3 where an air bag lid 2 is arranged, and comprises: a receiving stand 11 for processing which retains the occupant side of the material surface 3 as a mounting surface 27; a processing edge 12 for processing a tear line 4 by moving the processing edge 12 against the material surface 3 retained on the receiving stand 11 for processing; and a cooling means 16 moving a cooling position while partially cooling a processed section of the material surface 3 changing together with the movement of the processing edge 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
