<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interactive apparatus capable of performing interactive communication (bidirectionally with a computer) on a page associated with a program or the like from a television screen by easily accessing an associated Internet page while viewing a television program (broadcast content) or commercial, and to provide a control method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: An interactive apparatus 103 includes: a tuner part which receives broadcast content; an interface part which is connected to a display device and outputs a video signal so as to display on a display part the broadcast content received by the tuner part; a network part 108 to be connected to the Internet; a remote control receiving part which receives a signal from a remote control terminal; and a control part which controls to transmit from the network part a request of a Web page associated with broadcast content under viewing on the basis of an interactive operation start signal received by the remote control receiving part, to receive the associated Web page information by the network part, and to then switch an indication on the display device from the broadcast content to the associated Web page. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
