<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-wavelength image sensor which is capable of concurrently photographing a visible light image and an infrared light image of different resolutions. <P>SOLUTION: A two-wavelength image sensor which is capable of capturing a visible light image and an infrared light image includes a substrate; visible light detection regions and infrared light detection regions provided alternately on the substrate in a fixed arrangement term in the direction of columns; a visible light detectors provided in the visible light detection regions; infrared light detectors provided in the infrared light detection regions; and a displacement driving mechanism which is capable of displacing the visible light detectors and the infrared light detectors, with respect to an object in the direction of columns by the arrangement term, wherein visible light images, captured prior to and after the displacement by the arrangement term are composited, to create a visible light image and infrared light images captured, prior to and after the displacement by the arrangement term are composited to create an infrared light image.. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
