<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate for an LED-chip light source which can secure an effective lighting area as far as possible and can control a shadow-like dark part easily and economically as far as possible. <P>SOLUTION: In a strip-like region alongside an incident end face 11 of an end face on a side of the incident end face 11 of a light guide plate 1, there is arranged an incident light dispersing pattern 13 with a density gradation, more dense on a side of the incident end face 11 and less dense on a side of a light guide pattern, and a light guide of the light guide pattern is conducted after the incident light is dispersed by LED chips 21. A length of a shadow-like dark part with a distance between LED chips as a bottom side length becomes about 3 cm and the same is masked, and a strip-like region of the incident light dispersing pattern 13 becomes 1.5 cm and if the same is masked, a masking width becomes reduced to one half and an effective lighting area can be enlarged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
