<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device capable of securing a light amount of light emitted in a linear form by using a light source and a light guide means. <P>SOLUTION: In the illumination device 20, since a plurality of LED chips 33 are arranged in an emitting device 21, the plurality of LED chips 33 are sealed by using a sealing body 31 containing light scattering materials so as to form an independent convex part, and a linear light source 27 is formed by arranging an emitting device 21 installed on a substrate 30 so as to separate the outside of the sealing body 31 and to surround a slope 38 at one end of a light guide plate 22, the light emitted from the sealing body 31 can be enhanced in light coupling efficiency of the emitting device 21 and the light guide plate 22, and the light can be irradiated on an object at a suitable brightness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
