<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator which can view a marking marked on a piezoelectric vibrator while enhancing a protective effect of a device. <P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric oscillator 10 comprises a piezoelectric vibrator 11 and an IC 42 for controlling the oscillation thereof covered with a mold material 52 wherein the mold material 52 covering the surface of the lid 16 of the piezoelectric vibrator 11 is formed thinner than the mold material 52 covering the periphery. In the piezoelectric oscillator 10 having such features, the thickness t of the mold material 52 covering the surface of the lid 16 is desirably set in a range of 0.1 μm≤t≤20 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
