<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surveillance system for unauthorized run of a taxi which enables to correctly grasp unauthorized run of a taxi. <P>SOLUTION: An unauthorized run signal is transmitted to a base station 12 in such cases where a human body detection sensor 18 senses a passenger and a taximeter 14 outputs an available taxi signal or where the sensor 18 cannot sense a passenger and the taximeter 14 outputs an occupied taxi signal, after the taxi 10 as a mobile station has run for a desired distance previously set by a base station 12.
