<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, for example, a system capable of two-way communication via a 6-to-4 tunnel, even if a transmitter-side 6-to-4 host exists inside NAT region and a receiver-side 6-to-4 host is present outside the NAT region. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic tunneling method is provided which determines whether source addresses in an outer header and an inner header of a request message received from the host inside the NAT region are the same; and when they are not the same, converts the source address of the outer header into a general address using previously stored NAT conversion information, and stores a private address that is extracted and converted from the general address converted from the source address of the outer header, as an entry on a mapping table; thereafter, transfers the request message to the host outside the NAT region, assigns a destination address in an outer header of a response message with respect to the request message that is received from the host, to the general address stored on the mapping list; and thereafter, transfers the response message. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
