INTAKE CONTROL DEVICE AND SADDLE RIDE TYPE VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake control device capable of inhibiting inappropriate change of a length of an intake pipe even if engine load frequently changes.

SOLUTION: The intake control device is provided with a change control section for changing a length of an intake between a predetermined connection length and a disconnection length shorter than the connection length and a determining means for determining whether or not the length of the intake conduit needs to be changed by the change control section. It is included in conditions for determining change from the connection length to the disconnection length that an engine load is higher than a predetermined threshold value. It is included in conditions for determining change from the disconnection length to the connection length that an engine load is lower than a threshold value set lower than the threshold value.
