PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid consumer integrity detector which can effectively activate the detection of a liquid consumer integrity. SOLUTION: The liquid consumer integrity detector according to this invention comprises a vibratable vibration unit exposing at least part to the containing space for containing the liquid and vibratable to the containing space, and a piezoelectric element which can vibrate the vibration unit based on a drive signal and generates a counterelectromotive force signal by the vibration of the vibration unit. Liquid consumer integrity detecting units 1200, 1202, and 1210 detect the liquid consumer integrity based on the counterelectromotive force signal from the piezoelectric element. The containing space is containable with the liquid of a predetermined amount.
