PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent heat outside a case from being transferred to a capacitor element by solving the problem wherein the capacitor element is thermally deteriorated due to heat from the outside of the case, and capacity cannot be drawn out stably. SOLUTION: The capacitor comprises: the ceiled cylindrical case 1; the capacitor element 2 stored in the case 1; a lead wire 4 that is connected to the capacitor element 2 and is led from an opening on the lower surface of the case 1 to the outside; and a sealing member 5 that has a through hole into which the lead wire 4 is inserted and seals the opening on the lower surface of the case 1. In the capacitor element 2, metal is deposited onto one surface or both the surfaces of a dielectric film for winding or laminating a pair of metallizing films, where metal deposition electrodes are formed, so that the metal deposition electrodes oppose each other, and collectors 3 are formed on both end faces. A resin cover 7 where a lower surface is open is fixed to a seat plate 6 and covers the entire case 1 from the outside. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
