PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing method of a car washing machine capable of washing a side surface under an equipped article projecting out from a side surface of a washed vehicle such as a door mirror, a fender mirror, and a side under mirror. SOLUTION: An installing position of a mirror (the equipped article) is checked. At a place which is not the mirror installing position, a side surface lower part of the vehicle 2 is washed by rocker brush device 17 like as a conventional one. At the mirror installing position, the rocker brush device 17 is raised to a position which does not contact with the mirror, and then the side surface of the vehicle under the mirror is washed. Therefore, the side surface lower part of the vehicle under the mirror which is not washed conventionally can be washed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
