PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool rest which surely prevents the leakage of coolant, and further easily connect a coolant supplying device with a tool with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A second end portion 58 opposed to a first end portion 46 of a moving body 42 is brought into contact with a pushing means, which is a rod shape member 60 provided on a second block 18. The rear portion 62 of the rod shape member 60 is configured so as to serve as a cam for energizing the moving body 42 downward or toward a tool 22 when the rod shape member 60 has turned.
