PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a conventional bed/sofa-bed/sofa occupies a space even when not in use and prevents the space from being effectively used; even such a piece of furniture that can be stored when not in use requires large equipment and cannot be moved easily; and a simple folding storage bed does not allow a user to select a mat and bedding tends to be exposed even during storage. SOLUTION: The bed/sofa-bed/sofa which needs not be installed in other structure or equipment permits a space to be used more effectively and responds to movement or remodeling/removal by being structured so as to allow its longitudinal side to be raised nearly vertically when at least a main part is not used for a main purpose. The space expanded can be used as a public space by refining the materials of the bottom and its periphery which are exposed during storage and by structuring the appearance without exposing bedding.
