PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of prolonging work by a wrongdoer trying to detach a game control unit for a fraudulent purpose and capable of accelerating the exposure and prevention of fraudulent actions. SOLUTION: A cover body 27 is provided with a cover engaging part 90, a cover release operation part 91, and a cover release covering member 92, wherein the cover release covering member 92 is made attachable and detachable to/from the cover body 27. When the cover body 27 is converted to a closed state in the state of attaching the cover release covering member 92, the cover engaging part 90 in an exposed state is engaged with a base member 22, the cover release operation part 91 is surrounded by the cover release covering member 92 and the base member 22 in the engaged state, and the release of the engaged state of the cover engaging part 90 and the base member 22 is regulated. When the cover release covering member 92 is detached in a state the base member 22 is engaged with the cover engaging part 90, the cover release operation part 91 is exposed and the release of the engaged state of the cover engaging part 90 with the base member 22 is allowed.
